On Tuesday 22nd November, we held our latest Wincott Foundation event “Britain on the Brink”, a conversation between Wincott chairman Lionel Barber and Lord Mervyn King, former Governor of the Bank of England. In a wide-ranging dialogue, they discussed the many causes of our inflation crisis, and gave verdicts on the economic effects of Trussonomics and Brexit. The event took place at Bloomberg HQ in the City of London, and attended by leading financial journalists, economists and business people.
